Tight Tolerances
Our tolerances are tighter than the ASTM standards. By consulting with us for your technical needs, we can work together to find a smart solution to meet your custom needs.

  • ASTM A 513 Type 2 and Type 1 as welded Electric Resistance Weld (ERW) is produced from low-carbon cold-rolled steel. It is excellent for forming and ideally used in welded mechanical applications.
  • We offer cut-to-length as well as mill length.
  • Cut-to-length tolerance is plus or minus 0.015 Grieder cut or Brehm cut.
  • Our tolerances on wall thickness, outside diameter and inside diameter are better than ASTM standard tolerances by half.
  • Our tight tolerances enable us to satisfy customer specifications that may otherwise require costlier tube specifications.

Extreme t/D Ratios

  • Welded Tubes, Inc. can produce hard to make t/D ratios with small OD's and heavy walls and vice versa.

Metric Tubing

  • Welded Tubes, Inc. is equipped and tooled for several metric sizes ranging from 10 mm to 30mm.
